GT3

The main sports-car class: more power, more downforce and stronger brakes than GT4, with adjustable ABS and traction control.

Braking in GT3

GT3 cars make real downforce, so they can take more pedal at 250 km/h than at 120 km/h. The planner shows this as the zone where holding 100% triggers ABS: the pedal has to ease off as speed drops even before you turn in.

Adjustable ABS and brake bias change the feel a lot between setups. Use the planner for where to brake and how the pressure should fall, then fine-tune the tolerance to your setup.

Tips

  • Brake hardest at the top of the zone where the aero helps most.
  • Trail the pedal to the apex in slow corners to keep weight on the front tyres.
  • Fast corners need less trailing; the aero holds the car.
